Fast sailing during the night..patches of 9-10knots...only to have the breeze almost completely die at first light. Started to come back at 0800 and been sailing smoothly since.
ETA Savusavu Thursday afternoon, unless the breeze drops.
We had a small bird for company yesterday, a land bird, not a sea bird. he must have come with us from New Zealand? He flew around the boat and sat in the cockpit, came inside and was very personable. Unfortunately by this morning he had passed away and was buried at sea.
We are well and, although this voyage has been far from arduous, we're looking forward to making landfall.
