Rearranged the plumbing under the floor just outside the for'ard head.
The drain from the anchor locker (small diam white line) was connected to the copper Tee where the valve now is.
On Starboard tack in solid weather, dirty water from the anchor locker would end up in the shower base in the head.
By putting the valve in and moving the anchor locker drain to the downstream side of the valve, we can turn the valve off (shown) to prevent the dirty water ending up in the head - it will now go directly to the sump. Just have to remember to turn the valve on when showering !
Looks simple but because of the odd sizes of Amel hoses it took all morning to find parts to make it all work, and is only just finished (1600!).
BTW does anyone know what that small diam grey pipe on the left of the picture is for ? It doesn't appear to be connected to anything.
