S.V. Elyse is a 2004 Amel Super Maramu 2000 Redline.
We bought her in April 2013 in Noumea from Serge Demarcy who bought her from Amel in 2008. Serge sailed her in the Med and then crossed the Atlantoc, Panama canal to Marquesas, French Polynesia, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu to New Caledonia.
She was called Elyes when we bought her and she was the Amel demonstration yacht in Hyeres (named Gourami) until they finished the series and began building the 54s in 2005.

2021
Well that didn't happen ! COVID-19 struck, Elyse stayed in Opua, I stayed in Australia. Finally was able to visit in May, she wasn't too bad actually. Plan was to go back in August but Australia's mismanagement of the vaccine rollout and subsequent Delta variant infections have cancelled all travel for the moment. We were booked to haul out for antifoul at Gulf Harbour in November - Delta variant COVID put paid to that.
A friend in Opua has arranged for a diver to change the zinc anodes at the end of October.
We have a flight booked to NZ for December 10 - will that go ahead? who knows.
It's all a waiting game.
